IDOOH International partners with Abercairn Digital for in-vehicle displays in Nigeria

IDOOH International has partnered with Abercairn Digital to deploy 1,000 in-vehicle displays in Lagos, Nigeria. These 10-inch displays will offer news, entertainment and interactive e-commerce functions, according to a press release.

IDOOH has integrated geo-fencing and day parting technologies into its displays to deliver content based on weather, location and traffic conditions. The company chose to expand into Nigeria due to its exploding population, which is expected to overtake the U.S. by 2050, according to the release.

"We chose IDOOH for their ability to quickly deploy and scale their network of in-vehicle screens, proven track record in Asia Pacific, innovative advertising technology and big data capabilities," Oyebisi Asimolowo, CEO and found founder, Abercairn Digital, said in the release.  "The introduction of IDOOH’s in-vehicle screens will transform the passenger commute experience and provide brands with an interactive DOOH platform to engage one-on-one with consumers and drive higher engagement and conversion rates."
