Ideum brings motion tracking to life with a 4K touchscreen kiosk

Ideum, a multitouch table manufacturer, has launched its Portrait Touch & Motion Kiosk. The kiosk features a 4K Ultra HD 55-inch display and an integrated Microsoft Kinect Sensor for motion tracking, according to a press release.

The display is 7-feet tall and is made of aircraft-grade aluminum. It also has 60 touch points, an Intel i7 quad core PC and an NVIDA graphics card for improved performance, according to the release.

"The Portrait Touch & Motion Kiosk is our first all-in-one standing system. It is the perfect addition to our line of multitouch tables and Presenter touch walls," Jim Spadaccini, creative director and founder, Ideum said in the release. "We have brought our years of experience in creating turnkey, integrated-touch systems to the Portrait Kiosk."

The kiosk is designed for use in retail, museums, tradeshows and other settings, according to the release.
