IconOne Outdoor high-brightness displays hit Sweden's Gothenburg Airport parking system

KAJAANI, Finland — IconOne Outdoor products are an essential part of the Swedish Facility Parking Ltd.'s system to reach desired target groups at the Landvetter Airport in Gothenburg, Sweden.
When a car enters any gate of the parking structure of the Landvetter airport, it will be photographed with a special camera that can identify both the make and model of the car. Once the car passes one of the gates, advertising for this specific car make and model will be shown on the display. This patented system makes it possible for advertisers to find a desired target group among all passing cars.
Facility Parking's patented system includes IconOne Outdoor Digital Information Displays provided by Symbicon Ltd. The vandal proof Icon46 Outdoor High Brightness (1500NIT) units are equipped with integrated PCs and Facility Parking Ltd.'s software to take care of the identification of cars and the showing of correct advertisements. In addition, the system consists of special cameras, IR-lighting, sensors and Internet connectivity.
