HumWare to launch digital network for golfers

GOLDEN, Colo. - HumWare Media Corp. has announced the launch a digital Internet TV network for golf courses called 19thHole.TV.
According to a news release, the 19thHole.TV Network is designed to deliver interactive golf entertainment over the Internet and display it on monitors inside golf clubhouses.
The system allows golfers to play trivia games and enter contests with their cell phones via a text messages. These phone numbers then become part of database for golf courses to send outbound text messages.
19thHole.TV is delivered to solid-state media players that pull content from central servers and then display the content on a flatscreens throughout clubhouses. The network delivers up to 18 full-motion, 15-second animated ads every 15 minutes, 48 times a day or 1,440 times per month.
