Honeywell sues over LCD patents

Bloomberg: Honeywell International Inc. sued Acer Inc., AU Optronics Corp., Tatung Co.'s Chunghwa Picture Tubes and three other companies, claiming they infringed a U.S. patent on a way to stop liquid-crystal displays from flickering. The complaint, filed Monday in federal court in Tyler, Texas, also targets Benq Corp., Renesas Technology Corp. and Denmos Technology Inc.
