Holographic greeter brings retail digital signage to the fore

March 21, 2012

Retailers from big-box stores to mom-and-pop shops know the value of having a location or display that stands out in the crowd of saturated advertising messages in the store. Marketing Ad Group said it has a way to cut through that tidal wave of advertising with its Holographic Greeter, an information, branding and promotional messaging medium that displays a holographic image projected onto a life-sized cut-out, according to a company press release.

The company has also launched a Counter Display Module for the solution that integrates products into the presentation.

The Counter Display Module, a wraparound gondola/shelf unit designed to highlight new items, secondary locations or seasonal specials and demos, modularly docks with the Holographic Greeter. The entire system is built on concealed caster wheels to make setup and repositioning easier, Bill Barrett, product development manager with Marketing Ad Group, said in the press release.

The company offers the greeters for lease, purchase or through its co-op program, making upfront costs low, Barrett said.

"Updating content with additional videos is so affordable you will be tempted to change your marketing creative daily," he said.
