Hall Research intros HDBaseT extender

Hall Research has introduced its UHB-SW2 extender, comprised of a two-gang wall plate transmitter and a low-profile receiver. The wall plate offers VGA and HDMI inputs and USB port, according to a press release.

The devices uses HDBaseT 2.0 technology and can extender signals over a single CAT6 cable up to 120 feet for 4K content at 60 Hertz or 220 feet for 1080p video. Other features include:

• Extends USB and RS-232 control signals.
• Receiver powers wall plate via CAT6 cable.
• Can connect interactive displays, keyboard and webcams to receiver.
• Supports 4:4:4 HDR with up to 18 Gig bandwidth.
