Golf Club Network tees off with ScreenScape

December 7, 2010

Using digital signage and location-based platforms, the newly-launched Golf Club Network will deliver targeted advertising messages, up-to-the minute industry news and information to as many as 20,000 golf courses and establishments throughout North America with the help of ScreenScape Networks, according to Mediacaster Magazine.

Links Marketing Group, publisher of Pro Shop Magazine, Canadian Golfer Magazine and the website Golf Industry Network.ca are working with digital signage provider ScreenScape Networks to create and deliver content and advertising across the network.

The Golf Club Network is a new service that helps club operators develop stronger relationships and communications with their customers and build new revenue streams, says Randy McDonald, publisher and editor of the publications and website along with PGA professional Ken Trowbridge.

Using out-of-home or place-based media screens, a host club's marketing, communication and promotional programs can connect directly with patrons, guests and golfers, acting as a supplement to the publisher's in-print and online titles.

ScreenScape is the underlying technology that allows Links to meet the needs of the golf club operator and deliver targeted sales and marketing messages.
