Glass Media intros storefront displays

August 10, 2020

Glass-Media has introduced a Digital Activation as a Service offering, which includes digital signage, projection-based augmented reality and screen accessories to help retailers increase footfall and drive sales. Retailers can use the DAaaS rental model to integrate the displays without entering a long-term contract, according to a press release.

The system comes with multiple features such as voice, gesture, motion detection triggers, gamification and mobile integration. Other features include:

  • Proprietary projection-based display technology.
  • Dynamic retail fixture that uses augmented reality and projection mapping.
  • Line of screen accessories to enhance Glass-Media products and existing digital signage.

"Glass-Media's offerings help retailers bring shoppers back into the store and increase both offline and online conversions, which are the top challenges facing most retailers today," Daniel Black, founder and CEO, Glass-Media, said in the release. "Retailers are searching for ways to create magical experiences that attract shoppers, and our solutions are proven to increase footfall as well as sell-through and conversion. We're working with retailers to help re-energize physical retail, one storefront at a time — and we're doing it in time for holiday shopping, which will be the most important shopping season most retailers have ever faced."
