LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Captive Indoor Media announced that Gainesville, Ga.-based Gainesville Bank and Trust has purchased its digital signage software and content delivery service. The system is to be installed in December 2006.
"Captive Indoor Media's digital signage solution seemed to fit into our banking business model," said Nick Kastner, marketing officer with Gainesville Bank and Trust. "We looked at several systems and Captive Indoor Media definitely offered the most comprehensive solution for us."
Captive Indoor Media not only produces software but also delivers content creation as part of its monthly service. Each month its customers receive up to 30 new pieces of content specific to the banking industry that can be customized to that institution's brand.
"We feel that the creation and management of media assets is the most challenging part of using a digital signage system," said Brian Nutt, president and founder of Captive Indoor Media. "The very nature of digital signage allows for a high degree of flexibility and customers should feel the obligation to constantly update media on their screens. The bottom line is without fresh content; viewers will lose interest and be reluctant to return for information. We are simply trying to help our customers mitigate this risk."
