Gefen to intro 30 AV products

Gefen, a Core Brands company, plans to introduce 30 UHD, AV-over-IP and other AV solutions at InfoComm 2017. These products will include HDBaseT extenders and multiformat input switchable extenders, according to a press release.

The company's HDBaseT extenders are designed to handle 4K resolution with HDR. It is designed to extend the full 600 MHz bandwidth of HDMI 2.0. Other solutions include:

• five multiformat switcher and processors for 4K in digital signage, education, government and corporate markets;
• new generation of Video-over-IP solutions; and
• multiformat input switchable extenders including wall plate form factor, and wireless and USB extenders.

"Our goal is to equip commercial integrators with the tools they need to fully harness the latest iterations of UHD and AV-over-IP technologies," Jason Fitzgerald, product manager at Gefen, said in the release. "Our new products do just that."
