Gefen shipping 4K Multiview Switcher

Gefen has launched its Multiview Seamless Switcher, which can power 4K content at 600 mega hertz. The device can take content from four sources and display it on one 4K display, according to a press release.

The HDCP compliant switcher provides seamless content with no frame loss during source selection. Customers can use programmable presets to store and recall custom window arrangements. Other features include:

• 4:4:4 chroma sampling.
• Controllable via front panel buttons, IP, RS-232 and IR remote.
• Audio can be selected via IR, RS-232 or IP.
• Analog audio is de-embedded from HDMI output.
• Can be mounted in a standard 19-inch wide rack.
