CS Software Holdings LLC (CoolSign) has announced it has hired industry veteran Leo Bull as its vice president of global sales. The move comes 11 months after CoolSign went independent and represents another step in the company's ongoing market expansion.
Bull joins CoolSign from his previous position at Wireless Ronin, where he was a regional vice president. He will be based in Atlanta and is responsible for growing the reseller channel and building strategic alliances for CoolSign globally.
"I am thrilled to be part of CoolSign," Bull said. "I see tremendous growth potential for the company. I was strongly attracted to their commitment to being an industry leader and their long-term focus. I am looking forward to partnering my relationships with the company's successful strategy and great people."
Bull has spent the last 15 years in industries in or directly related to digital signage. Prior to working with Wireless Ronin, he was vice president of sales at Avocent. During his tenure there, Bull managed an international sales team, built relationships with key customers and strategic partners and substantially increased company market share in the digital signage, broadcast and serial divisions. Prior to Avocent, Bull was director of commercial sales at LG Electronics, where he managed a sales force focused on commercial hardware for the AV industry with emphasis on the digital signage market. Additionally, Bull held sales positions with Fujitsu General America and Mitsubishi Digital Electronics.
"There are many compelling aspects about CoolSign," said Lou Giacalone, Jr., president and founder of the company. "But most importantly, the company is made up of incredibly smart, dedicated and passionate people. We made a commitment early on to be not only the best product in the marketplace, but (also) the best company to work with. Our employees and partners are our lifeblood, and through our thorough training programs and commitment to ongoing education, we will grow the market together."
