Flybits, a digital experience platform for financial services, is partnering with Diebold Nixdorf to launch Service Connect, a contextual mobile app for device repair.
The platform gathers data from Diebold Nixdorf's AllConnectSM Data Engine to remotely uncover the repair issue and identify the type of service required, according to a press release.
The Data Engine analyzes data via cloud computing and machine learning and sends it directly to Service Connect. Then, field technicians can view all service requests based on context and gather directions from the Service Connect app.
"The ability to leverage Flybits' advanced core system and capabilities will go a long way in contributing to the outstanding performance of our solutions by streamlining the information delivery from our DN AllConnect Data Engine out to our field technicians in an optimized way," Olaf Heyden, SVP, COO of Diebold Nixdorf, said in the release. "Having everything they need in a centralized location and the ability to contextualize information has a tremendous impact on providing our customers with a more proactive and predictive service model."
