Touchscreen digital signage provider FlatFrog demonstrated at this year's InfoComm in Orlando, Florida, what it says is "the world's first" mass production commercially ready InGlass Touch for large-format displays (23-110 inches), according to the company's website.

The products are tailored toward digital signage, corporate collaboration and interactive whiteboard/education monitors utilizing large-format InGlass technology, the company said.

In addition, FlatFrog is showing a curved 4K multitouch display, touch with more than 1,000 levels of pressure/force sensing (InGlassForce) and a stylus-capable 15-110-inch panel size with pressure detection (InGlassPen).

InGlass is based on light wavelengths that are injected into the core glass and touch disturbances are detected via novel algorithms. The InGlass technology supports unobstructed image, for clear HD and UHD/4K LCDs. The design is also bezel-free and works for either flat or curved displays.

"We are now showing InGlass as a commercially qualified option that is technically superior to existing technologies. The ability to support 15-110 inches demonstrates the broad capabilities of the InGlass touch technology," FlatFrog CEO Dhwani Vyas said in the announcement. "Our customers appreciate the touch performance and the superior transparency that our technology provides across their entire platform. We are now rolling out stylus and pressure options that enable our customers to create differentiated products. We will continue to add more exciting features to our offering in 2015."
