FlatFrog ramps up touchscreen production for kiosks, digital signage

The first AIO PCs with InGlass are expected early Q1 2015.

January 13, 2015

FlatFrog Laboratories AB, provider of Win8.1 certified InGlass multitouch systems, announced it is increasing manufacturing of touch modules to be integrated in AIO PCs with a top-tier North America OEM. The first AIO PCs with InGlass are expected early Q1 2015.

FlatFrog's InGlass enables 15- to 84-inch touchscreens with thin edge-to-edge design to obtain optical clarity with technology that does not use light obstructing sensors on top of the LCD. The lack of sensors is designed for a superior touch interface while still maintaining a rich visual experience for the PC and Monitor markets, the company said.

FlatFrog Touch is intended for high-volume consumer PC products, large interactive displays suitable for interactive digital signage, conferencing, large kiosk displays, whiteboard, education, gaming and hospitality displays.
