Flat panel display market to reach $189B by 2026

The flat panel display market is expected to reach $189.6 billion by 2026, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 6.1% from 2019-to-2026, according to a report from Allied Market Research.

Some of the market drivers include increased demand for vehicle displays, OLED display devices for smartphones and tablets and interactive displays in the education sector.  Other findings n the report include:

• The LCD segment will hold the highest market share.
• The retail segment held one-fifth of the global flat panel display market.
• North America held two-fifths of the market and will continue to dominate in the forecasted period.
