Fifth Third Bank uses digital signage to schedule appointments during COVID-19

March 20, 2020

Fifth Third Bank has announced that starting March 21, its branches will only be open to customers who have an appointment as part of an effort to fight the spread of the coronavirus. The banking lobbies will also feature information on digital signage to inform users on how to schedule an appointment, according to a press release.

"Our banking centers are the face of our company for many customers," Greg D. Carmichael, chairman, president and CEO of Fifth Third, said in the release. "That's why we are committed to continuing to serve our customers at banking centers as best we can. While we have to temporarily adapt our banking experience to keep our customers and employees safe, we are working to ensure it remains as easy and convenient as possible to do business with us. We appreciate our customers' understanding during these challenging times."

Customers can schedule an appointment online, via mobile app or on over the phone.
