Fast casual restaurant signage network to relaunch with new programming

May 12, 2010

According to Ooh-tv.com, TargetCast Networks recently announced that its fast casual-based network is going to offer a new format with fresh programming and advertising options.

The network — formerly known as the Ripple TV Network — will have a new content and programming strategy to be spearheaded by Jones Digital Media.

"We have some exciting plans to elevate the overall visual experience on the Fast Casual Network and take it in some new directions," said Dylan H. Jones, founding partner of Jones Digital Media. "The focus will be less on delivering information, since so many people are carrying all of the information they need in their pockets these days, and more on creating a 10 minute visual and intellectual vacation during their busy day."

The new screen format will integrate the L-Ad Creative Unit that TargetCast Networks has used in their Casual Dining Network. It will also feature a main window, which can run full-motion video, flash and graphical advertising and entertainment.

The new Fast Casual Network programming will debut across 623 locations on June 7. Those locations include Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Tully's Coffee, Einstein's Bagels, Noah's Bagels, Robek's, Juice It Up and Border's Bookstores. The company plans to expand into as many as 1,500 fast casual locations starting later this year.
