Fanless digital signage player optimizes multi-media display

FREMONT, Calif. — Nexcom, an embedded industrial PC provider, has launched the NDiS 161 player for digital signage applications. The NDiS 161 enables rich graphics, multi-format multimedia support and versatile connectivity.

The NDiS 161, powered by an Intel 945GME chipset with support for the Intel Core 2 Duo/Core Duo/Celeron M family, is designed to present media content for maximum advertising impact. NDiS 161 integrates DVI-I, S-Video, SPFD and composite display output, and provides outstanding graphic and high-resolution (up to 1920 x 1080) performance with multi-screen display capability.

With its fanless design, the NDiS 161 has no rotating parts, no dust accumulation and no noise concerns during operation. It is designed to save on the cost of system maintenance and be highly reliable for 24/7 operation. Its slim size means the NDiS 161 can easily be mounted behind large LCD screens.
