Exponation names Chris Gibbs president, COO

ATLANTA — Exponation LLC, which produces Digital Signage Expo (DSE), Interactive Technology Expo (ITE), Out-of-Home Network Show (OOHNS) and LightShow/West (LSW) has named Chris Gibbs president and chief operating officer. Gibbs, formerly executive vice president of Exponation LLC and one of the founding company executives, will assume the day-to-day responsibilities immediately.
"Chris' drive and focus on customer ROI are among the many reasons why Exponation continues to have consistent success and growth, while other business-to-business firms continue to suffer through more rounds of cutbacks," said Angelo Varrone, Exponation co-founder and chief executive. "Digital Signage Expo is a shining example of Chris' significant contribution, helping it to become one of Trade Show Week's 'Fastest Fifty' events last year, citing its remarkable growth from 2004-2006."
Digital Signage Expo has continued to grow with gains in 2007 and 2008 and has already booked more exhibit space for 2009 than ever before in the show's six-year history. Digital Signage Expo, Interactive Technology Expo, and Out-of-Home Network Show will be co-located at the Las Vegas Convention Center for an even bigger exposition to run February 24-26, 2009.
