Epson launches new series of projectors

November 9, 2016

Epson has launched a line of projectors called the PowerLite 2000-Series. The series supports 1080p and features 5,500 lumens of color and white brightness, according to a press release.

The series includes nine new projectors that can display PDF, JPEG, BMB, GIF or PNG files directly from a USB drive. The series also features:

  • HDMI connectivity;
  • DICOM Simulation Mode to reproduce grayscale images; and
  • Faroudja DCDi Cinema video enhancement technology.

The PowerLite 2265U and PowerLite 2165W can display four individual screens over the network. The two projectors also use Screen Fit, which helps adjust image sizes to fit within a frame. Customers can also use Epson's iProjection App to display content from their iOS or Android devices.

"The PowerLite 2000-Series offers an unbeatable combination of brightness, a rich feature set and a portable design, making it ideal for nearly any room," said Remi Del Mar, product manager, Epson America. "The series delivers a wide range of options, from resolution and brightness to connectivity options, so customers can find the solution that best suits their installation needs."
