EMEA public display market shows signs of recovery

Public display shipments in EMEA decreased 6.7 percent year on year in Q3 of 2009, according to Meko's DisplayCast tracking service for public displays. AVInteractive UK reported that the reduction is less than was seen in Q1 and Q2, where year-on-year declines were 14.7 and 15.5 percent, respectively. Recovery was seen in developing regions for digital signage, such as the Mediterranean region, which saw a 20.4 per cent year-on-year increase, and the Middle East and Africa, which saw a 14.9 percent rise.
