Elo Touch Solutions unveiled the IntelliTouch Curve for the gaming industry and will demonstrate its features at the Global Gaming Expo this week in Las Vegas, the company said.

The touchscreen is designed for kiosks, interactive directory maps, digital signage, restaurant, retail applications and more. Its clear glass contains no coatings, moving parts or plastic films that can be scratched or damaged and can handle 50 million touches, Elo said. It comes with full-HD resolution and is intended for high-traffic public venues.

The curved screen incorporates surface acoustic wave and IntelliTouch Pro projected capacitive technology for furniture, horizontal counters and tabletops and plugs into third-party touch controllers, the company said. It is designed to produce brand experiences through tablets, touch computers and monitors, and interactive digital signage in sizes ranging from 7 to 70 inches.

The Milpitas, California, company said it is offering a three-year global warranty that connects customers to repair centers in more than 30 countries. The IntelliTouch Curve should be available in the next 30 days to customers worldwide, according to the announcement.
