Elite Manufacturing Technologies to debut 55-inch display

Elite Manufacturing Technologies has created the Elite Outdoor, a 55-inch LCD display with a brightness rating of 3,500 nits, according to a press release. The company plans to debut this product at the Digital Signage Expo, according to an email from Chuck Lewis, director of business development and digital solutions at Elite.

The display is designed with an LED back light for high contrast images and low power consumption. The screen is also designed to withstand temperatures from -40 degrees Celsius and 50 degrees Celsius.

Other features of the display include:

• Ability to function in direct sunlight;
• 1,920 x 1,080 resolution;
• 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio;
• 4-mm tempered protective glass with A/R coating; and
• Compliant with VESA mounting.
