Eastern Virginia Medical School leverages outdoor digital signage

Eastern Virginia Medical School has teamed with Daktronics to install a curved, outdoor LED display for campus communications, according to a press release.
Based in Norfolk, Virginia, EVMS chose a curved display to match building architecture at the intersection of Brambleton and Colley Avenue. The sign measures 8.5 by 53-feet along with weatherproofing and leverages the Daktronics Venus Control Suite Content Management System.
"The Daktronics curved LED marquee has quickly become one of our go-to communications tactics," Vincent Rhodes, AVP and CCO at EMVS, said in the release. "The screen grabs attention for our campus-based and community-benefit messages. Our campus staff and community members both marvel at the marquee and make frequent requests to have their content displayed."
