E Ink Holdings, a digital signage and display provider, will introduce a new product within the electronic shelf label and digital signage market during SID Display Week, taking place June 2-4, in San Jose, California, the company announced.

At the show, E Ink also will showcase Prism, a color changing electronic ink technology launched at CES 2015, designed to enable architects and designers to transform the way people "experience spaces and surroundings," the company said.

In addition to the new products, E Ink will exhibit consumer, retail and industrial products powered by E Ink, as well as a number of EPD Kit solutions that will enable product designers to test out product concepts using E Ink displays.

During the show, E Ink scientists Dirk Hertel, Hsin-Tao Huang and Wen-Chung Tang also will each be presenting technical papers and the company's head of global marketing, Giovanni Mancini, will present and participate in a panel discussion.

According to E Ink:

Today's retailers must be able to adapt quickly to changing market conditions and new competitor innovations, or risk losing market share. Meeting the growing demand from customers within the retail industry, E Ink developed a new product that will provide retailers with a competitive edge to improve the consumer shopping experience. At SID Display Week, E Ink spokespeople will provide insight into the state of innovation in retail and will be on hand to discuss flexible electronic paper displays and growing trends within the e-reader, digital signage, ESL and mobile industries.
