E Ink, Innolux deliver 28-inch ePaper

E Ink Corp. recently partnered with Innolux Corp, a TFT-LCD provider, to design a 28-inch Advanced Color ePaper panel. Innolux provided the modules and E Ink provided full color ePaper film for this solution, according to a press release.

The display runs on E Ink's ePaper technology, which features small form factor, reflective technology and low power consumption.

"Panel applications have become more diverse as 5G and AI have encouraged the development of applications in smart life, digital entertainment and health management," Jim Hung, CEO and chairman, Innolux, said in the release. "Innolux has differentiating advantages owing to our solid capability in panel manufacturing, and are glad to partner with E Ink as the total panel solution provider for the full color ePaper project."
