Dublin hotel deploys Philips MediaSuite TVs

PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays, has been tapped to deliver 'next generation' entertainment and experiences to all 150 guestrooms at The Chancery Hotel in Dublin.

The Chancery Hotel's owners sought a state of the art TV system to create a memorable and elevated experience, according to a press release. Teaming up with VDA Telkonet, a provider of smart room technology for hospitality, the Philips MediaSuite TV (55HFL5214U) was identified as the global offering capable of meeting The Chancery Hotel's high ambitions for quality, versatility and sustainability.

"The main features we were looking for at The Chancery Hotel were a cutting edge, best in the market, top shelf TV system, with superior quality and sustainability benefits built in," Barry Francis, commercial director, The Chancery Hotel, said in the release.

A fleet of 150 TVs were installed and feature built in casting — a technology PPDS was the first to introduce back in 2019.
