Dubai Mall upgrades with rear projection display

The Dubai Mall recently teamed up with Pro Display and Eclipse Installations to deploy a rear projection display. Pro Display supplied its Digital Glass solution, a large format optical screen designed for ultra short throw applications, according to a press release.

The Chalhoub Group, the owners of Dubai Mall selected Digital Glass to serve as an alternative to a video wall. It didn't want dissecting bezels that cut up content, but rather a single screen for its luxury shoe store, Level Shoes.

Pro Display used the display alongside an Epson EB-L1405U projector to project HD content. The projector combines a laser light source and 3LCD technology to provide HD images, according to the release.
