DT Research integrates AccuWeather into digital signage networks

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. AccuWeather Inc. and DT Research Inc. have announced a partnership to integrate AccuWeather.com content into the WebDT digital signage system. The collaboration gives WebDT Signage System customers access to real-time weather and news content delivered into their digital signage networks.
 
AccuWeather and DT Research are offering weather and news content modules designed to attract viewers to digital signage. The modules are optimized for both full screen or multiframe digital signage applications and are available in text, video and animated formats to accommodate venues with varying dwell times and ambient noise.
 
AccuWeather.com content, as well as the Associated Press news content, is available for every U.S. ZIP code and numerous international cities. Content is offered in both English and Spanish.
 
"Weather is, by its very nature, highly relevant and dynamic information that draws eyes to the screens again and again. That is why weather consistently gains top audience ratings in all existing media," said Scott Homan, AccuWeather.com meteorologist and director of out-of-home digital media.
