August 9, 2010
Digital Signage Expo (DSE) announced that it has unveiled a reformatted and further expanded conference seminar program for next year's show, to be held February 22-24, 2011, in Las Vegas.
"Our aim is to provide not only ‘cross-training' to give everyone the opportunity to see the ‘big picture,' but also eventually to create a curriculum path to certification renewal in cooperation with the Digital Signage Experts Group," said Richard Lebovitz, educational and editorial director for Atlanta-based Exponation LLC, which produces DSE.
The international tradeshow and conference dedicated to digital signage, interactive technology and digital out-of-home (DOOH) networks, will now have nine tracks with clearly defined target audiences. Client end-users from key industry categories — including arts and entertainment; banking; advertising and marketing; education; government; healthcare; hospitality; and retail and transportation — will have the opportunity to hear an outstanding faculty of peer professionals and industry specialists make presentations relevant to the digital signage and digital out-of-home marketplace, according to DSE.
The tracks and their target audiences will target several key areas:
• Digital Signage Fundamentals — Primary audience: End-users/Network Operators
