At this year's Digital Signage Expo, BrightSign LLC featured its all-inclusive tabletop digital signage solution, the BrightSign TD1012.
Ready to use right out of the box, the freestanding tower simplifies deployment with its built-in display and because it doesn't require a PC, cabling or wiring, the company said. The TD1012 provides a solution for organizations that want instant digital signage but have space limitations and/or restricted access to electrical outlets.
The TD1012 features a steel enclosure with a built-in, portrait-oriented 12.1-inch high-resolution screen, a solid-state media player and BrightAuthor content management software. With a replaceable/rechargeable battery offering at least 12 hours of battery life and built-in Wi-Fi networking capabilities for remote content updates, users can simply add their content to create an instant digital sign.
The BrightSign TD1012 was designed with a solid-state (PC-less) platform that increases reliability at a low total cost of ownership (TCO), the company said. The BrightAuthor PC software, which is included free of charge for all BrightSign customers, allows users to build playlists quickly and easily and also supports remote content updates via Wi-Fi using the BrightSign Network or Simple Networking, a USB card or an SD card.
