DOOH barely registers in digital media spending study

A recent study from digital marketing agency Razorfish indicates that the breakdown of media spending in the digital realm continues to follow along mainly traditional online media lines, according to MarketingVox.com.

Not even one so-called "new media" channel even obtained 5 percent of digital ad spending last year: Social media displays got about 4 percent, mobile about 2 percent, and digital out-of-home (DOOH) barely moved the needle.

(Interestingly, nearly all DOOH investors were new investors last year, according to the story.)
