Digital View unveils new media player

LONDON — Digital View announced the availability of its RemotePlayer RP-710 media player. Built around an industrial-grade embedded motherboard and a fanless design, the RP-710 has high-endurance hard-disks and fully solid-state storage options up to 32GB.

Featuring an embedded 1.8MHz Pentium M-class CPU, the RP-710 delivers MPEG 1, 2 video playback, and supports high-definition and wide screen video playback, as well as the latest MPEG 4 video standards and Macromedia Shockwave Flash. Custom-designed by Digital View, the RP-700 series is Linux-compatible.
