Digital signage weighs anchor on cruise liners

AKA.TV: One of the world's largest cruise-ship operators is dipping a toe into the waters of digital signage.
Three vessels operated by Carnival Cruise Lines -- the Carnival Miracle and Carnival Valor, as well as the new 110,000-ton Carnival Liberty -- have installed Actalyst digital signage from Smart Technologies.
Each ship has around four 42-inch plasma screens, said Smart, customized with its touch-sensitive overlay.
