Digital signage provider C-nario secures $5 million in funding

TEL-AVIV, Israel — C-nario, provider of comprehensive systems for digital signage networks, announced that it closed a $5 million round of financing led by Carmel Ventures. Rina Shainski, General Partner of Carmel Ventures, joined C-nario's Board of Directors.

In addition, C-nario announced the nomination of Doron Inbar as chairman of its board. Inbar, a veteran of the telecommunications industry, served as president and CEO of ECI Telecom Ltd. for six years and has been with ECI Telecom for 23 years. Inbar is also a venture partner in Carmel Ventures and active chairman in companies of its portfolio.

C-nario, established in 2002 by Arnon Diskin, offers advanced solutions for content management, distribution, and system monitoring targeted at large networks of digital screens. C-nario's clients include Philips, CNN, BBC, Axel Springer, Bank Hapoalim, First Republic Bank, FNAC, Motorola and others.
