Berlin-based ~sedna GmbH says it has released its new digital signage playout app Presenter Player for iPad.
The company's Mac-based Digital Signage software suite, ~sedna presenter, now adds the iPad as a digital signage playout system, ~sedna GmbH says. As a self-contained computer and display, iPad is ideal for retail, POI and POS deployments, the company says.
Presenter Player for iPad features one content layer for pictures, movies and HTML websites and one text ticker layer. The unique "Playlist on touch" feature allows the user to trigger playlists on the device at will. Display rows and simple video walls can be created by using the multiscreen features of ~sedna presenter.The big advance of iPad as an interactive device allows creating interactive digital signage projects in a new dimension, the company says.
Presenter Scheduler is the content creation, scheduling and distributing software that is used to create and distribute Digital Signage projects to Presenter Player for iPad in no time, the company says.
New Presenter Player for iPad app is shipping now; it is available as a free download in the iTunes App Store.
