Digital signage in transportation explored by Digital Signage Today

March 27, 2008

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Digital Signage Today has published the first in a series of guides focusing on digital signage verticals called "Digital Signage in the Transportation Industry."

Sponsored by LG Electronics, this guide is designed to aid deployers in the transportation industry with their first digital signage deployment, as well as give examples on how to improve existing networks.

The guide also profiles some of the most significant digital signage deployments in the transportation industry to date including:

• Networks in England's Heathrow and Manchester Airports • Scala deployments in South America's largest air hubs • First-class advertising with the JetSet Media Network • Digital screens in New York City cabs • Expert opinions on the digital billboard controversy

"Airports, train stations and public transportation provide a huge number of impressions for digital signage," said Bill Yackey, editor of Digital Signage Today. "Operators of these venues can capitalize on ad dollars and ROI by deploying a network, but in order to do so they have to do it right."

The guide is available as a free download from Digital Signage Today.
