Digital Signage Association launches new Web site, signs 400th member

The Digital Signage Association has announced that it has launched a new version of its Web site, and also reached the 400 member mark in the month of December. Member #400, The University of Illinois and #401, individual member David Carbert, joined on Dec. 3, 2009, helping the DSA surpass the mark. According to DSA executive director David Drain, "The updated site will continue to deliver on the goals of the association to accelerate the growth of the industry and advance the excellence of digital signage deployments worldwide. Simply put, we want to help those deploying digital signage solutions be as successful as possible."
The new Web site has many new features and enhancements:
Member Directory - Each member now has a dedicated profile page within a searchable Member Directory. Through your Member Profile, site visitors can learn more about you and have the option to contact you directly.
Blogs - DSA member bloggers and industry experts such as Lyle Bunn, Ken Goldberg, Bill Yackey, David Little, Steve Gurley and Brad Gleeson offer their insights on the world of digital signage. Board & Committees - In addition to an Advisory Board listing, the DSA now lists of all committees and members. Speakers Bureau - The new site connects those looking for a speaker with members who are industry experts.
Events - The industry event calendar has been enhanced with DSA meetings and activities.
FAQs – The DSA Website Task Force has prepared questions and answers to some frequently asked questions about digital signage.
Glossary - With nearly 200 words, the glossary is a terrific resource for members and their customers.
Members Only area - DSA members have access to exclusive content such as the Best Practices for Digital Signage Content as well as back issues of the Deployer Quarterly newsletter.
