Digital Media Projects opens new British office

August 22, 2010

U.K. digital signage company Digital Media Projects announced that it has opened a new corporate sales and marketing headquarters in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

Digital Media Projects, which boasts investment banks, Premier League football clubs, electrical retail chains and the United States Air Force as clients, has moved to a 3000-square-foot office as the company, launched by former banking IT project manager Nicholas Fearnley in 2005, increases its workforce and develops its digital signage and Internet protocol TV systems.

The opening of the new sales and marketing suite comes at an exciting time for Digital Media Projects, and the whole digital signage industry, Fearnley says in the announcement.

"We are seeing a 400 percent increase in sales year-on-year, and digital signage alone is a multimillion-pound market growing at 20 percent a year," he said. "This is against a backdrop of deployment prices falling by a half in the last six years."

The company has already established an office in the Netherlands to promote its products and services in the Low Countries, and says it is looking to open an office in New York, where it already has a number of key clients.

Digital Media Projects has recently completed a major digital signage installation at Manchester City Football Club's City Store shop and admin offices.
