Lumen & Forge, a company specializing in immersive experiences, recently completed a digital holiday show called "Streetmosphere" at Grand Canal Shoppes inside The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, according to a company press release.

The 17-minute projection mapping show, "Holiday Spectacular" was displayed in front of St. Mark's Square Clock Tower. The production featured custom animated content accompanied by live, holiday-inspired entertainment with an Italian twist provided by the Streetmosphere cast.

"We love holiday activations. Illuminating the St. Mark's Square Clock Tower at Grand Canal Shoppes was an exciting project," Palmer Nicklas, creative director of Lumen & Forge, said in the release. "We partnered with BESTAgency to produce 'Holiday Spectacular,' using projection mapping to augment the architecture with custom video effects that leave guests in awe and in the holiday spirit."

Lumen & Forge worked with Christie Digital, utilizing a 30K lumen Christie Boxer 4K30 projector and media server to animate the Clock Tower.

"Projection mapping is one of our specialties, an intersection of art and technology on a grand canvas with infinite pixels. It can turn any surface into a moving digital canvas and transport guests to anywhere imaginable," Chris Butcher, senior animator of Lumen & Forge, said in the release. "Taking objects or architectural items such as the Clock Tower at Grand Canal Shoppes and transforming them into festive fantasies is enchanting. It's a great medium to engage audiences and create a unique experience."

The Streetmosphere "Holiday Spectacular" began Dec. 5 and ran through Jan. 2. Lumen & Forge, based in Las Vegas, was founded in 2018.
