Digital directory kiosks simplify wayfinding

DigitalSignBuilder has announced the launch of a new line of digital signage kiosks for wayfinding. Among other features, the kiosks allow a business to create a 3-D map, according to a press release.

Other attributes include:

• touchscreen and interactive screensaver;
• listing of transportation and events;
• ability to promote on-site services and amenities;
• ability to integrate a loyalty or reward program;
• FAQ button; and
• ability to integrate with a 3-D wayfinding map that uses a "smart pathway algorithm" to deliver directions via text message or email.

"These touchscreen kiosks are for companies needing a total solution," Chad Bogan, director of distribution for DigitalSignBuilder, said in the release. "Every DigitalSignBuilder kiosk includes all of the essential elements required — software, media player, content creation, commercial grade kiosk and full support. One customer favorite feature is the 3-D touchscreen wayfinding maps. These directory maps provide users with turn-by-turn directions to any destination on- or off-premise. The creation of the 3-D maps and other touchscreen content is included with the kiosk."
