D&H Distributing installs video wall powered by Gefen

D&H Distributing, an IT and pro A/V distributor, recently installed a five-by-three panel video wall in its headquarters in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to showcase brands it carries. The company selected Gefen's 4K AV over-IP transmitter and receiver solution to push HD content to the display, according to the release.

For the actual video wall, D&H used 15 NEC 55-inch ultra-narrow bezel display panels along with four 4K digital signage players and content management from the Lenovo LDS platform. It also uses Gefen's 4K EXT-UHD-LANS-TX transmitter and EXT-UHD-LANS-RX receiver as well as the EXT-CU-LAN Matrix Controller.

The company can use this video wall in a number of different configurations, such as creating a three-by-three main display with flanking displays for supplemental content, according to the release.

"We are working on a number of reseller events where we bring in clients to share our knowledge about new products and trends in the Pro AV sector," Jason Fregede, pro A/V solutions architect, D&H, said in the release. "Outfitting our headquarters with solution-based labs, like the Gefen-powered video wall, puts our expertise front and center to exhibit how we can help clients achieve all their technology goals."
