Destination Television deploys Broadsign Suite for hospitality, entertainment network

MINNETONKA, Minn. and FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — BroadSign International Inc., has announced that Destination Television Inc. has chosen BroadSign's software as a Service solution BroadSign Suite to operate its networks of digital screens in out-of-home leisure venues.
 
Destination Television and its affiliates comprise a large digital signage network whose media properties include displays in high-traffic areas in major U.S. hotel chains, gyms and bars. The programming loop features a mix of the latest movie trailers, music videos, advertising and useful local information. The loop content and length are adjusted to customer demographics and dwell times at each location. The company serves local, regional and national advertisers and also produces content in-house.
 
"We offer our advertisers what traditional TV can not: we reach the hard-to-get high income viewers when they are away from home or work and at a fraction of the TV's ad cost," said Gordon Scott Venters, CEO of Destination Television. "The ability to easily customize loop content and schedules to each day at each location in a vast network is critical for targeting our niche demographics and this is where BroadSign's application perfectly fits our needs."
 
Using BroadSign Suite will allow Destination Television's networks to schedule and ensure content playback on each screen, monitor network and campaign performance and produce proof-of-play reports for advertisers. The enterprise-scale software also makes it easy to manage media space inventory, view avails, as well as target campaigns by demographic and geographic criteria from one central location. The new software deployment is scheduled to begin in January 2008.
