Despite slower growth dvLED sales on positive track this year

While Direct View LED sales growth has slowed a bit the industry is on a positive trajectory for this year.

That's a prime findings of a report from PMA Research that tracks dvLED displays being sold by leading North American distributors, Pro AV dealers and systems integrators.

For the first quarter of 2026, direct view revenues were up 2% versus 1Q 2025. Other display product categories showed year-over-year declines versus the inflated sales of 1Q 2025, which spiked due to tariff-induced buying to avoid potential price increases, according to a press release.

In the distribution channel, Direct-View LED sales continued to shift to All-in-One displays versus custom configurations. Year-to-date, 53% of the revenues came from AIO models compared to 49% for the first quarter of last year. In March, Direct-view LED revenues grew by low single-digits month-over-month.

In the Pro AV channel, the opposite was true. Custom configurations generated more than 50% of the dvLED revenues in March vs. All-in-One systems. This makes sense, stated the release, given that custom dvLED walls require the expertise of a systems integrator for configuration and installation.
