Delphi to deploy signage in LA-area medical facilities with MedMedia

June 7, 2013

Delphi Display Systems Inc., a provider of customized digital signage solutions, announced it will be providing a turnkey solution for MedMedia Healthcare Network.

MedMedia is a provider of out-of-home advertising solutions for medical facilities in Southern California and the new agreement means Delhip will be managing the procurement and installation of digital signage hardware, as well as the design, hosting and content management, for waiting rooms of doctors' offices and medical clinics located in the region. To begin, the network will consist of 50 locations to be installed in the next 60 days, with plans to scale to 500 locations in the next 12-18 months, Delphi said.

"Delphi is very excited to be partnering with MedMedia," said Ken Neeld, president and CEO of Delphi Display Systems. "Delphi will utilize its Insight Engage software platform powered by RoninCast to deliver compelling, informative and relevant content to targeted patients on a daily basis."

MedMedia operates an orthopedic office network in the Los Angeles area and is planning on launching a digital signage network in medical clinics in and around the Los Angeles metro area, the companies said.

The networks are ad-supported and provide point-of-care information to targeted patients and healthcare consumers through an in-house channel to present patient-directed information and office-specific messaging.

"We selected Delphi because of their ability to provide a cost-effective, full turn-key solution coupled with their experience and credibility in the digital signage industry," said Joe Collins, CEO of MedMedia. "We look forward to working with Delphi as we launch this new healthcare network and expand into other DMAs."
