Datapath now shipping Hx4 display wall controller

Datapath has launched its Hx4 display controller, which can run a single 4K HDMI source across four outputs. The solution features a single HDMI 1.4 input and four HDMI 1.3 outputs, according to a press release.

The Hx4 handles all cropping, scaling, rotation and frame rate conversion for a variety of display configurations. Users can splice and overlap these regions to create a variety of multi-monitor display canvases.

"Our hugely popular multi-screen design tool has been updated to work seamlessly with Hx4. Wall Designer allows users to add displays from the ever-expanding database of monitors, visualize their content by adding inputs and adjusting display regions, and then instantly program their Hx4s either via USB or the network ports," Mark Rogers, product manager, Datapath, said in the release.

The device also comes with a single Ethernet connection for status monitoring and control, according to the release.
