Datapath launches video wall display controller

Datapath recently debuted its iolite 12i controller for video wall management. This controller can power up to 12 HDMI screens at 1080p, according to a press release.

The device can run 3-by-2 video walls for a welcome screen, TV wall, or 12 menu boards at a restaurant. It also comes with a rack mounting kit so users can deploy it in a server-based control room.

"Digital signage is growing in every area, and there is still particularly strong demand for welcoming and message boards in office receptions and meeting rooms. Digital menu boards are also becoming more commonplace in fast food restaurants, public buildings and estate agents. The iolite 12i has been purposely designed for this demand and brings Datapath's proven reliability and control to everything from boardrooms to pizzerias," Phil Davenport, director of sales, Datapath, said in the release.
