Datapath intros 4-way splitter for video walls

Datapath has introduced its IQS4, a one-in/four-out splitter for video walls. The device can power up to 96 displays for a video wall when paired with Datapath's Image4K's graphics card, according to a press release.

With IQS4, users can extend 4K video signals to a video wall and split the signals without needing separate extenders. It also supports VESA mounting, or standalone for setting on desks, workstations or shelves.

"Our renowned X-Series multi-display processors offer a wide range of features that are proven in the market over many years," Ben Dale, product marketing manager for Datapath, said in the release. "With the IQS4, we have used that same basic splitter technology to provide a reliable, discreet solution for powering large video walls. With zero configuration required, the IQS4 is a plug-and-play device which offers near-zero latency."
